So at the end of this month ABA services for Zay will stop. Trust it was not an easy decision to make. But I felt it was necessary and he probably needs the break.
So of course I have to step things up on teaching him so he can take care of himself or at least be somewhat self sufficient. My goal… self sufficient.
I think I will give him the month of March off… only working on things I already having him working on. Unlocking the front door, reciting his address, helping me with getting his clothes to the washer, keeping clothes on and most recently taking the trash out.
In April, I will make a list of short term goals for him while still working on the others. Plus, we will get some much needed “Mommy & me” time.
Prayers up for my baby… I know we got this. But its going to be interesting…
