Journey Report

Today was the first time I was in the mall with my son and he didn’t try to escape or run away. He held our hands tightly, smiled when people talked to him. A few got waved, one girl got him to try and talk back. He held his candy basket the whole time too. He shocked me, going to the mall with him walking the whole way is usually a task and I end up getting the cart. I’m proud of him and how he is growing. #AutismDoesNotDefineHim
